CNY reunion dinner + V day + sassy Breaky

Back in perth, life still goes on as usual.. work.. sch commencing soon.. 1st march.. finally.. gt to pay my sch fees.. hope some day.. the government will be a santa.. n reduce all our sch fees by half.. it will really marks our day..

Steamboat .. Apple crumble..

Had an early reunion dinner last friday.. with a group of my fellowship friends.. Drew, Jen, Abi, Eric, John, Cherie, Wei Xian, Susan, Sherry, Anu and Yumi.. Went marketing with Abi earlier.. bought some steamboat stuff.. headed over to drew place to prepare.. swept, mop and clean up his place.. everyone gt their task to accomplish.. Eric + John came over earlier.. bought his first home - baked apple crumbles.. tasted good.. haa.. felt it tastes alot better than what i did.. opps.. coz forgetten to remove the skins of the apples.. made a huge different.. the rest dropped in shortly.. dinner started abt 8pm.. ended with a short table tennis match.. followed by sing and praises of worship songs.. nice and enjoyable night.. can sense that everyone was singing and worshipping God together..wholeheartedly.. felt really good..

Following day.. went to Atrium Garden @ fremantle.. with drew..e.t.. n lucy...it was a international buffet.. cost abt $53/pp.. a varieties of food.. with cook on the spot pasta service.. place was awarded with "Gold award" for their food.. mmh.. *still alright*.. cant really compare the place with burswood atrium.. each have their own pros and cons..

Worked on V day.. drew prepared dinner cum supper addition - self composed songs.. thoughtful.. haa.. besides chicken.. their family fav.. pork was included this time round.. Dishes: Indian spices chicken.. bakuteh with pork and dumpling.. fruits salad with yogurt... rocky road..

Went for morning breaky @ Sassy by the swan.. had a B breakfast.. banana pancake.. chai latte.. thenafter.. went for a walk around riverside.. to digest what we had eaten.. it was indeed a scrumptous meal.. too fulfilling but nice.. took some pic along the way..

Today.. went for church service @ foothill church.. church theme was Fitness.. everyone was suppose to dress in their sport attire.. totally forgotten about this.. ended up.. went for service in our normal dress code.. songs was fun.. ppl were dancing around happily * as a form of work out.. enjoying themselves to the fullest.. immersed in their songs and worship.. surprisingly.. met one of my classmate @ church..so happened he actually grew up there.. and was visiting his church.. haa..small world..

Preacher was an aboriginal guy.. who was converted to a christian.. talk about how his life changes.. about their beliefs .. how God helps and guides him.. in his daily walk of life.. in order to have a closer walk with God.. our walk with God should not be like a stagnant water.. @ times.. we should live out of our comfort zones and do something different.. we can bring life and changes to ppl around us too.. be Fit and active for God.. @ places such as our sch.. neighbour.. work place.. waiting around.. catching up a short conversation..

Updating my SG trip..

Finally.. after seeing the blog of my sis n buddy..decided it high time for me to do my random updating of my blog..
Back to SG on 21st Jan.. supposely to arrive in SG at 6.30am.. ended up..due to some delay.. arrived SG at nearly 8am in the morning.. tired.. during the whole 5.5 hrs.. there was this Ahpeh.. snored throughout the whole journey.. hence did not get a good rest on the plane.. secretly.. i recorded his snoring.. haa.. w/o getting caught on my ipod.. when awaiting to collect our luggage..caught up a conversation with him.. noted that he is actually a anesthetic doctor.. practicing for 30 over years.. living in west leederville..haa.. passed me his contact..wana meet up for coffee.. but.. dont think it will ever happen.. haa..

Right after i headed back home.. departed to penang with my family.. sort of a reunion.. fun.. visited a couples of places... thank god we gt a really nice, chatty, fun, joker, friendly chaffeur for this trip.. bought us around to many different places..food.. tour.. yummy.. interesting.. Stayed in Bayview Georgetown hotel.. with a revolving restaurant.. seaview room.. friendly staff..

Day 1 - Butterworth .. had seafood.. shop around city area.. pelangi mall..cross the penang bridge.. back by ferry ride (with car)... coolz.

Day 2 - Visited Little nonya (whr they cast their little nonya tv series).. botanic garden.. bee farm.. clock tower.. mall.. penang coffee.. batik place.. jewellery place.. british colonial house.. canyon place.. chinatowm..mosque.. hindu place.. dinner @ revolving restaurant.. live band.. called sugar something..??..etc..

Day 3 - Shopping.. georgetown place.. head back home..
Overall.. hectic and tight schedules..but.. believed everyone enjoyed the tour.. as it's a rare opportunity for all to travel together.. esp when u r getting older..haa..
Back to Sg.. visited many friends.. meet up for coffee.. lunch.. dinner.. supper.. visited my fav place.. PS cafe at harding road.. wao.. couldnt believe orchard had developed into a mega shopping paradise.. got lost.. met up with friend.. but.. gt to the wrong meeting point.. ended up.. got to rush down..ha.. silly.. went to JB with b2 + sis.. n cherie..(different occasion).. clubbed @ dbl O..with BLUE theme.. happened to bounch into my sec + pri + friend friends .. all had fun together.. one of them is actually celebrating his 25th birthday.. hence all partied together.. bought my sis to c a doc.. wanted her to slim down.. believe it will work.. finger crossed..haa.. exercise and staying healthy is the key to happiness..
Stayed over @ ah ma place.. mingled around with everybody..nice.. saw ah gong.. hair getting blacker..although his already in his mid 80s.. ahman.. aunties.. all shrinking.. but..adorable.. Enjoyed aunty cooking..my fav .. pork trotter with black vinegar.. nobody can compare..haa..
Attended church service.. sat n sunday.. still find that the services over here are more fulfilling.. in comparison..although we shouldnt make comparison.. but..that's life.. just got to tk as it comes..
Walked alot.. eat alot..played alot.. enjoyed alot since the day i arrived in SG.. time is short.. hence enjoy ourself to the fullest.. n treasure the one we have..
