Huggy ate a cap

Huggy surprised me today.. he actually ate the super glue cap.. approximately 2 ~ 3cm long..

Was trying to fix up the car frame which huggy managed to pull it out the previous time.. bought some super glue.. trying to ensure that the frame will be firmly glued onto the car plate.. left the cap lying around.. * right infront of my feets*.. who knows.. seeing that I am busy fiddling around with the car frame.. silly huggy came over.. n Fed himself.. on the super glue cap.. initially.. thought he will only chew on the cap.. not swallow it.. heard some "crushing" sound.. to my surprise.. he actually ate the whole cap down.. my gosh.. tried to pry open his mouth.. found nothing.. i believe he must have swallowed the cap..

Cant believe..he is so silly.. sometimes.. feel that he is both Adorable and "ah gong" @ times.. no comment..

**Finger croos**.. hopefully.. it will not be digest in his system.. someday.. it might pass out when he is opening his bowel..

Huggy 3months old .. dementia

Enjoying himself on the swing..

Ytd was huggy 3 months old, bought him out for a walk in the early morning.. meeting many dog lovers along the way.. making friends, chatting, mingling around with them.. a bunch of friendly and nice peoples.. haa.. dogs of different sizes, breed and names.. cute and adorable.. thenafter, bought some new toys for huggy to play with.. think he's kind of bored with those toys that he had initially.. got him a car and frisbee.... his happily playing it.. bitting.. pushing around... funny..

Exhausted after morning walk.. Part 2 - pose

Headed to work.. as usual..

Shocking night, in the middle of the night at 2am... found a dementia man.. standing, calling out for help outside my place.. initially.. thought it was a thief.. saw huggy running around outside.. to and fro.. scary indeed.. went out.. called for ambulance.. bought him out to wait for the ambulance.. ended up.. realised his actually one of my neighbour.. living round the corner.. gt him some hot drink to calm him down.. drew called off the ambulance.. woke his wife up.. *even his wife dont even know that he had unlock the door and went out.. i believe.. should be a dramatic night for his wife n him.. cant even imagine what might happen to that old man if he was to loiter out of the compound.. onto the road side.. anything dangerous can happen.. luckily.. found him.. send him back home.. safe and sound.. thank god..

Church service was fantastic today.. nice music.. sermon.. touch by the message.. said about.. how one who was trap.. by their own unforgiveness.. or even though u have already forgiven.. but yet.. unable to let it go.. or in a way.. set urself as a prisoner to it.. must learn to overcome it.. God is alway there.. ready to receive you.. ready for you to open up.. n move on.. Christ is not beside you..nor around you.. his "IN" in.. pastor preach about John 7.. drink = receive.. learnt to open yourself up to him.. every week.. learning new things.. believe that.. he alway there for you.. whenever you need him.. n dependent on the needs of individual.. he will speak to their inner most being.. @ the right time.. Thumbs up..

Bradley actually got shots all over his back.. thighs.. hands.. yet he said it is not that painful.. pro he is more "fleshy" than the rest... that's why.. thenafter... bath and changed.. rush down to workplace for medication competency course.. should say.. it was useful and relevant.. learn about the diff ways of application.. 5 Rs..

Last day of clinical placement -

Kiddy - Millen primary.. their Arts piece

It my last day of clinical placement, a mixed feeling.. partly.. I did enjoyed the whole 2 weeks of clinical placement.. learnt alot from the clinical nurse (community health nurse) I am attached to.. she is caring.. nice.. polite.. well informed.. hardworking.. knowledgeable.. n capable lady.. cant believe.. she holds 4 jobs at her age of 51.. require to support her children through sch.. Her main policy in nursing.. is RESPECT.. INTEGRITY.. and HONESTY.. with all included.. Interpersonel skills + good EQ is essential.. that what nurses are suppose to be.. communication.. interacting with ppl of all ages.. from kids as young as 0 - XXyrs.. knowing when and how.. to present yourself at the right place.. at the right time..

As a clinical nurse in high school, where sexual health, social risk, alcohol, nutrition, risk taking, immunisation is prevalent in this environment.. one have to understand, listen, educate and promote good health.. would require support from the government, school community, parents/guardian, teachers, students, etc.. not easy i should say.. as what she said: Learnt to cover your own back (*ass) when you are out working in this society.. rmb documentation is important.. black n white.. prove.. to verify + as an evidence..

At the kiddy, realised lots of kids are diagnosed with speech and autism problem.. as young as 4yrs old.. hence the nurse got to write a referral.. to get the parent/teacher to arrange for further check up.. good in a way..if illness are discovered earlier.. easier to get help from.. not till you are in your late teenage years.. reduces the benefit/support you get from the government..

End of the day, bought a box of choco for my preceptor.. haa.. she ga
ve me a good evaluation feedback.. nice.. she willing to be my references.. too.. n referral for future use.. thank god..

I am really blessed.. heard from some of my classmates.. they gt really nasty and incorrigble preceptors.. who do not appreciate their help.. make use of them.. treating them like servant.. unkind.. n rude.. long travelling distance.. etc.. hence... we should all learnt to trust God in our walk with him.. although.. its true.. he deal with us differently in life.. dependent on individual (overall).. back to square one.. he's the one who know us inside out.. no escape.. moral: Find trust and rest in him..

Went for dinner with drew at Nichoson Grills.. nice family oriented environment.. lots of birthday celebration going on.. food was nicely presented.. staff polite.. perhape a nice place to bring your family.. down..

Wicked chicken & gemberi pizza...

Updating - mischievous huggy

Went for clinical placement last Wed and thursday, was fun and enjoyable experience. Attached to a clinical nurse at Kent street senior high school.. visited Royal perth hospital for an excursion.. relating to alcohol. drugs and speeding for teenage.. got a tour around the ICU, trauma, emergency unit.. then after, headed to shenton park rehabilitation hospital.. a talk presented by a qudraplegic guy.. about his life story, what n how it happened to him.. encouraging young ppl not to be impulsives, risk taking, etc.. could say it was a meaningful trip.. thursday, went to a primary school to do ear / eyes screening for kiddy.. they are so adorable.. realised many kids are diagnosed with austism nowadayz.. hyper actives and lack of concentration.. not sure what the main cause of it.. Will be having my clinical placement for the next 2 days..

Met up with some friends over the weekend, think i am going to stop clubbing for the time being..kind of bored.. music.. not that motivating either.. cant really make a comparison thou.. haa.. the drink are kind of diluted.. not much alcohol content..

Brought huggy out for a walk ytd, within our strata compound, he seems to be sniffing and roaming around.. once he stepped out of the strata compound.. think he got frightened by the sound of the vehicles.. stopped walking n sniffing.. ended up.. sat on the ground.. not moving.. got to pacify him.. to keep walking.. perhape..he need some time to get adjust to it.. still young thou..

On saturday, brought huggy to city farmer to purchase some worming + heart worm + flea vaccination for him.. once he goes into the shop.. started roaming around again.. getting lots of attention..from ppl.. realised he was so big.. even bigger than a 1 years old toddler.. haa.. i could only say.. that toddler is only about half of his size.. huge breed..

Got over my presentation and test.. now.. more reports and assignment to complete.. nxt week is my tution free week... planning for more activities..

Today, huggy got onto my nerves.. found the frame of my car plate lying beside him.. my gosh.. cant believe he can actually bite that frame off my car.. incredible creature.. got so angry with him.. teach him some lesson.. scolded + wack him.. thenafter.. he sat one side.. knewing that I am extremely angry with him.. not moving a slight bit.. making attempt to cling onto me.. i simply shoff him away.. when i had fixed up the frame.. he came around with his toys.. lying right beside my leg.. trying to gain sympathy.. without succeeding.. he took his toy ball.. started chewing and flicking it around.. amusing thou.. although i'm really furious with him.. back to square one.. his only a puppy.. a dog..n animal.. cant do much..can only educate him.. not to repeat the same mistakes.. his a fast learner..

Huggy with ball in his mouth.. shaking..

Huggy 2nd vaccination

@ canningvale
Brought huggy for his 2nd vaccination + microchip ytd, at VET WEST hospital.. as it was his first time out.. when he met other doggies at the clinic.. he got a shock.. coz.. one smaller doggy.. think it a bull dog.. about 17 weeks old.. started getting hyper.. n kept going on at huggy.. he got frightened by the enthusiasm of the dog.. and started re-treating back.. hiding behind us..so adorable + funny.. haa.. it took less than a min to input the micro-chip into the back of his skin on his neck.. and the vac.. through his mouth + nose.. the vet used some beef liver to keep huggy still.. experience i should say.. when he got home.. his character became milder.. not so mischievous.. good in a way..

Paid about $125 for the vac + chip.. think the price is reasonable.. perhape.. other place might be more expensive.. recommended by the breeder..

Sad part - one lady bought a "Lost" rottewier to the clinic.. poor dog.. he was very plum.. but.. part of the fur on his tail got ripped off..not sure what happened.. seems like he is in agony.. thenafter.. the vet nurse retained him in one of the room.. probably awaiting for the people from SPCA to take him back...
lying on his sides..lazy fellow pathetic look..after jab..

Find it rather perculiar is that, whenever someone passed away in the nursing home.. seems like it's contangious.. 2 weeks ago.. one old lady passed away during her sleep.. followed by an 2 old man.. all within that 2 weeks.. so wierd.. doesnt matter.. believe they are going to a better place called heaven.. that's something reassuring..

Panic attack is caused by "Pakinson disease".. whenever the resident started feeling anxious, panicky and depression sets in.. they know they are going to have panic attack.. hence.. we will give them their medication called "Kalma" as requested by them to calm them down.. medication usually take effect after 30mins... during the period 30 mins of waiting.. the resident starts to be teary.. feeling aches all over their body.. you can see from the agonies in their face.. heart-breaking indeed.. not sure what we can do to relieve them from their pain.. only solution.. is to stay by their sides.. provide them some care.. by massaging them.. talk to them.. some reassurance.. n definitely.. say a short prayer with them.. hopefully.. to ease their pain..

Think pakinson disease is a common disease over in Australia..

Anyway.. studying for my test this week.. tml gonna start my clincal placement at KENT STREET SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL.. for 2 weeks. interacting with the clinical nurse.. n kids of 14 - 18 yrs.. young people... thankfully.. although i did not get the placement within my area.. but..i gt the placement at Vic park.. better than nothing.. as some of my friends.. got their placement far away.. taking them nearly 1.5 hours to reach their placement place.. that's really terrible.. however.. the main purpose of clinical placement..is for us nurses.. to get an understanding of working in school environment.. the health care services provided.. in term of education, learning, prevention in a school.. will require us to write a report upon completion..

More to come.. presentation + health fair + report + assignment.. lotsa works..

Birthday party.. eve..

Living in asutralia, one has to learn to keep themselves occupy by doing a variety of things.. nothing much to do at night for most shops closes at 5pm.. except for 2 day.. where they open till 9pm..

Attended rose dirthday party on sat, nice food.. nice ppl.. tasted some african food + chinese food + homebaked cake + abundant of alcohol supplied.. once in a while.. good to have some party to get things going.. if not.. life will be as stagnant as water.. even mosquito can breed on it..

Thenafter, after some persuasion by friends, agreed to drop by "The eve".. danced around for a couple of hours... till about midnight.. n headed home.. gonna work the next day..

After coming to perth, watched so many DVD.. sad.. horror.. comedian movies.. there isnt much TV program over here.. that's life..

My huggy is getting bigger each day.. cant believe doggy can grow so fast.. think golden retriever are intelligent.. they pick up command pretty fast.. so adorable + huggable + disturbing at times.. kept digging and chewing all day long.. bought lots of toys for him to play with.. bones to chew + grinding + cleanes his teeth.. sandy areas for him to dig and buried himself in it.. so funny.. simply adorable.. haa..
