Walter park

This whole week have being working and working non stop.. so busy.. pretty tiring but enjoyable.. thou handling the resident are tough.. washing them, cleaning, feeding.. etc.. after the whole day busy running around like a bumble bee.. able to see them smile is a relieve.. however, on occasion seeing them lying there.. dementia.. not knowing what's happening around them.. was indeed a pitiful sight.. think this is just another part and parcel of our life.. where almost i should say all of us will have go through it.. its only a matter of late or early..

Working at Tandara and Joseph bank are 2 different kind of environment.. Tandara residents are of high care.. need more attention and strength .. n almost 80% residents have dementia.. disablilty in a way or so.. hence require more energy.. they are adorable in their own way.. in JB.. residents there are sort of coming from a wealthy bakground.. either they themself or their kids are better off than others.. hence they are able to stay in this kind of nice and private environment.. in Tandara is like a war zone.. carer got to rush to and fro to get things done for all residents under their care..however in JB.. they allow carer to take their own time.. manage it.. to get their resident dress up.. eat..etc.. more of a relaxing pace.. n residents there are more demanding..as they are still sensible and know what are their likes and dislikes.. but.. we have more time to communicate to them..thou some elderly are a little nasty at times.. anyway.. they are all old ppl.. should show them some respects..that's life.. haa..

Today, went to walter point/park for a walk.. wao..not bad..nice park.. with sand bank which allow you to walk from one side to the other.. similar to penguin island.. unfortunately.. saw lotsa Jelly fish (Dead)..lying around.. poor things.. funny part..able to catch a glimpse of the dolphins swimming around the lake.. think the lake is connected to the sea.. coolz sight..haa.. good place to walk...chat..n laze around.. nice weather too... think that all for now..tml got work to do..

Back in Perth

After a short 2 weeks holiday in SG, here i am back in Perth again.. The very next day, started work at Tandara again.. Realised that after 2 weeks, seems like all the resident health are deteriorating.. poor things.. however, this are all part n parcel of life.. still have to go on..

Then after, went for a short trip down south to Albany, Denmark, Pemberton and busselton.. Long drive indeed.. wao...drove more than 2500 km... no kidding.. haa.. but it was an enjoyable and meaningful drive.. seen lotsa stuff.. farm house, water feature, rocks, ocean, underwater observatory (18m deep), gloucester tree climb (65m tall), train ride (over bridges and river).. Stay in motel, farm house and chalet style.. each places gives different kind of feeling.. when arrived at Busselton... lucky indeed, as it was Queen's day, they have 5mins of fire work.. wao.. was fantastic view.. thou it was a rather long journey, it was rather fun and enjoyable.. the only thing which i might comment on was the hotel stay.. dont ever stay in Farm house.. not fun..

On monday, start my work routine again.. weather is getting terrible hot over here.. 41deg @ times... haa.. gotten FOC sun tanning.. dont even require to go for the aritificial indoor tan.. haa... but.. there are lotsa flies.. that pretty irritating too... anyway.. summer gonna be over soon.. and school gonna reopen in Feb.. hopefully the weather will be cooler by then..

Family outing

Sat went out to ECP for cycling with my Buddy and edwiny... mmh... interesting and enjoyable day... my sis is clever indeed, kept saying she dont like to cycle.. cause the "bottom" will hurt.. it is true.. haa.. after the 2 hour cycling.. our bottom are sore from the cycling.. then after.. went to bugis and have our "Ma La Steamboat".. taster..?.. thou not as spicy as the one i ate previously at Chinatown.. still quite tasty... my bro and sis join Us for the seamboat shortly.. nice.. forgotten to take some pic..

Sunday, after church service went for a family lunch gathering at New york place... haha.. my da gugu is the payer master.. we order quite a varieties of food.. wao.. feel so full and exhausted after the whole meal.. had pizza.. bread.. meaty platter..pasta..dessert...etc.. yummy.

Following event, went to licia house.. my sis gonna Dye her hair.. completed..good job.. follow by Bukit timah plaza.. for a game of pool.. cousin event.. nice play.. last but not least..went to grandma place.. dagugu prepare some dishes for us.. delicious and healthy.. haa... overall rating.. fun and enjoyable..

Today met up with xin and jane for lunch.. after lunch..drop by xin place for a sit... chat and laugh about the old days..haa.. funny indeed..

Shortly, bro drop by to pick me up.. nice of him... drop jane at school.. and went off to checkpoint to collect my fan... to bring back to Perth.. my gosh.. so heavy..luckily.. i have my bro to help me.. his really a nice and caring bro..thou sometimes.. he might be a little annoying at time..overall.. 8/10.. haa...

Hectic life style

In spore, ppl really lead a pretty hectic and mandane lifestyles..i suppose.. work + play + slp.. daily essential in life.. currently, busy meeting up with friends and families members.. before i head back to Perth.. over the last weekend.. went for club, chill out, late night supper, shows and church.. kinda enjoying it..

Too many activities in a row, too lazy to jot it down.. watch that cinderalla show at Espland.. mmh.. pro rate it 7/10... to be fair for the effort that they put in.. pro it's more suitable for young children..more like a fairy tales..haa.. but.. once in a life time.. worth watching..

Today, heading to Jb with my friends (xin + jane) to JB.. wohoho.. would like to go for my seafood.. haa.. thou that place is pretty hot and slightly unbearable.. but..might Close and eyes.. haa.. for the food.. n also my cheesecake..cant give it a miss..

Sat, gonna give it a last try for the IELTS test again if it God wills for me to take up my desired course.. i wil get a placement for the test. however if i'm not meant for it, i suppose i will not get any sitting.. alright that's all for now.. gtg... out.. tata...

New year - 2009

Manage to come back in SG in time for the new year count down.. Start the new year in God house.. so glad many ppl came for the count down.. my family.. (Except mom who is working).. my uncle and family.. cousin and also my buddy cyndi.. that really nice.. enjoyable night.. then after..went to zouk for some fun.. met edwiny.. n friends.. enjoyable nite too.. but.. really tiring.. was dancing the whole night through.. pretty exhausting..

Nxt day.. met up with xin and jane for dinner.. wao.. walk n talk the whole night through.. that was enjoyable and tiring too.. haa..think age is catching up.. hence get tired easily.. however.. nice time of meeting up with friends and have a gathering.. kinda miss the moment too..

Hoho... got some Belated xmas present.. nice.. n thoughful.. thanks..
