Huggy 2nd vaccination

@ canningvale
Brought huggy for his 2nd vaccination + microchip ytd, at VET WEST hospital.. as it was his first time out.. when he met other doggies at the clinic.. he got a shock.. coz.. one smaller doggy.. think it a bull dog.. about 17 weeks old.. started getting hyper.. n kept going on at huggy.. he got frightened by the enthusiasm of the dog.. and started re-treating back.. hiding behind us..so adorable + funny.. haa.. it took less than a min to input the micro-chip into the back of his skin on his neck.. and the vac.. through his mouth + nose.. the vet used some beef liver to keep huggy still.. experience i should say.. when he got home.. his character became milder.. not so mischievous.. good in a way..

Paid about $125 for the vac + chip.. think the price is reasonable.. perhape.. other place might be more expensive.. recommended by the breeder..

Sad part - one lady bought a "Lost" rottewier to the clinic.. poor dog.. he was very plum.. but.. part of the fur on his tail got ripped off..not sure what happened.. seems like he is in agony.. thenafter.. the vet nurse retained him in one of the room.. probably awaiting for the people from SPCA to take him back...
lying on his sides..lazy fellow pathetic look..after jab..

Find it rather perculiar is that, whenever someone passed away in the nursing home.. seems like it's contangious.. 2 weeks ago.. one old lady passed away during her sleep.. followed by an 2 old man.. all within that 2 weeks.. so wierd.. doesnt matter.. believe they are going to a better place called heaven.. that's something reassuring..

Panic attack is caused by "Pakinson disease".. whenever the resident started feeling anxious, panicky and depression sets in.. they know they are going to have panic attack.. hence.. we will give them their medication called "Kalma" as requested by them to calm them down.. medication usually take effect after 30mins... during the period 30 mins of waiting.. the resident starts to be teary.. feeling aches all over their body.. you can see from the agonies in their face.. heart-breaking indeed.. not sure what we can do to relieve them from their pain.. only solution.. is to stay by their sides.. provide them some care.. by massaging them.. talk to them.. some reassurance.. n definitely.. say a short prayer with them.. hopefully.. to ease their pain..

Think pakinson disease is a common disease over in Australia..

Anyway.. studying for my test this week.. tml gonna start my clincal placement at KENT STREET SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL.. for 2 weeks. interacting with the clinical nurse.. n kids of 14 - 18 yrs.. young people... thankfully.. although i did not get the placement within my area.. but..i gt the placement at Vic park.. better than nothing.. as some of my friends.. got their placement far away.. taking them nearly 1.5 hours to reach their placement place.. that's really terrible.. however.. the main purpose of clinical placement..is for us nurses.. to get an understanding of working in school environment.. the health care services provided.. in term of education, learning, prevention in a school.. will require us to write a report upon completion..

More to come.. presentation + health fair + report + assignment.. lotsa works..
