Updates..

Had a busy week.. as usual.. tour.. work.. exercise.. aim.. to jog and swim n do other stuff.. to keep fit n healthy.. haaa.. although require some motivation..

Happened to be at Vic park ytd.. surprised to see that there a youth event going on.. looks like a flea market.. stall selling different stuff.. books.. candles (Looks really yummy).. ornaments.. foods.. etc.. n some performance - bikes.. show case of antique cars... even the people from Peel Zoo was there.. bringing their pet snake called Emo.. feels cold..

Bought a new dog kennel for huggy.. easy to fix... cost me few hundred.. think it worth it.. however.. hope my doggy dont grow any bigger than his current kennel.. haa..

New house for hug..

Wed.. bought huggy for his 2nd obedience class.. as usual.. busy socialising with his other fellow dog mates.. forgotten my existance.. haa.. luckily.. i was not the only one being left out by thier pet dog.. some other dog owner.. haa.. was in the same situation as me.. taught the dog.. to sit.. down.. stay.. come.. etc.. hard work indeed.. require to be consistent in our training.. in a matter of time.. they will be trained..

Recently, while bringing huy out for a mornin walk.. found a dead cat lying on the grass patch.. initially.. was wondering how come .. a cat will be sleeping at this kind of place..earlier in the morning.. n not moving.. called out "kitty kitty".. still not moving.. huggy went over.. sniffing around.. realised it's actually dead.. checked with one of my friend.. she said..whenever u found any animal.. no matter it's dead or alive..just bring it to the nearest vet.. they will checked n discard it for you..

Recently, drove down to YORK.. part of WA.. up north.. abt 1.5 hrs drive.. visited the motor musuem.. court house.. jail room.. convict book.. interesting.. swing bridge.. mill gallery.. ended up..bought a apple tree home..haa.. hopefully.. can hv some apples to eat nxt year.. gonna feed huggy with apples now.. so in future.. i will hv plenty of apple for him.. apple strudel.. jams.. etc..

Ytd, went for canoeing with Drew, Cherie, Christy and Yumi at Dwellingup.. had a great day.. enjoyable and fun.. besides the annoying houseflies.. trying to kiss us.. n on our food.. canoe up and down Bowman .. murray river.. for nearly 3 hours.. passed some small rapids + rocky rocks.. s-course.. under a fallen tree trunk.. attempting to stand and canoeing.. funniest part.. cherie fell into the water while we are trying to swap position.. ended up.. a bagful of stuff was wet.. christy camera was wet.. hopefully... the camera will b fine after few weeks.. waiting for the internal to be dried up..

Finally, exam is over.. on the day for bio exam paper.. felt like calling one of my friend "linda".. to check where she is.. to my surprise.. she thought that the paper was on the next day.. haa.. and she asked me.. why are you in school.. luckily i called her.. if not..she will miss her paper.. ended up.. she got to speed down..all the way from her place.. pro 30mins away from school.. for the paper.. thank God.. she manage to arrive and sat for the paper.. during the exam.. there's one housefly.. kept buzzing around.. disturbing us.. kind of annoying.. as i'm trying to concentrate.. yet this silly housey is buzzing around.. irritating ppl..n their thought.. PAPER was not easy at all.. anyway.. no exam paper is easy.. already done my best.. prayed God to help me.. haa..

Brought huggy to shelly bridge for a run.. weather was good.. but.. too many houseflies.. that makes it irritating.. too bad.. just gt to bear with it.. initially.. when first arrived in Perth.. some of my friend was saying.. there would be so many housefly.. that you can simply take to slices of bread.. n catch all of them.. as housefly sandwiches.. in actual fact.. it wasnt that many.. just the buzzing around.. landing on your face.. body..makes it irritating.. that life.. God created them for a purposes.. think he is simply too friendly.. wagging his tail at everybody.. running over to greet them.. haa

Baked apple crumble today..

Ingredient:
Filling:
4 apples
50g water
2 tps sugar
*a tingle of honey

Crumble:
1 cup of plain flour (used wheat flour - healthier *Assumed)
2 tps sugar 100g butter/margarine
Cinnamon powder (spice)
Oats

Custard topping:
2 egg yolks
1/2 cup milk (warm)
2 tps sugar
1 tps vanilla essence

Filling: Diced the apples.. place all ingredient in the pot.. simmered for approx. 15 ~20 mins.. till apples are soft..

Crumbles: Chopped butter/magarine into diced form (prefer).. mixed all ingredients together.. using fingertip.. to obtain the crumby crumb..

Custard topping: Mixed all ingredient together.. boiled over the pans for 2~3mins.. off the stove.. stirred/ beat it for few mins.. to thicken the custard..

Final: Preheat oven to 190 Deg.. placed into oven for approx 20 ~25mins.. till golden brown.. * Apple crumble is best eaten when warmed..

Kataning sunday - huggy teeth..

Last sunday, went on a road trip to kataning.. part of a christian ministry to the Burmese people.. who are here in Australia as a refugee.. took nealry 3 hrs to reach the destination.. 100 plus people attended the sunday service.. it was held at "Lion park" in Kataning.. we have to set up the place... with flag.. chairs.. musical instrument.. mat.. etc.. started with a short prayer.. followed by the usual singing + worship session.. thenafter.. went over to help out for the children ministry.. used some Puppets to tell them story about Jesus.. Kids age ranges from as young as 2 ~ 12 yrs old.. overall pretty well behaved.. although there are alway some "monkeys" around.. before the service comes to an end.. the burmese children performed.. by singing their Burmese songs.. fun and enjoyable day... interacting with the ppl.. songs and worship.. food was yummy too.. lots of spicy stuff.. caused it's Spring now.. lotsa flies buzzing around.. some were busy swapping away the flies.. nice group of ppl..

On monday.. while i was playing with huggy.. "Fetch".. by accident.. when i tried to pull out the toy from his mouth.. one of his teeth came flying out.. initially.. realised his gum was bleeding only when i saw some blood stain on his toy.. at first.. thought it was those stones he was grinding on that caused his gum to bleed.. who know.. while i picked and cleared all the stones on the floor.. realised that there was a tooth on the floor.. mix n match.. concluded that it was from huggy mouth.. pry opened it.. haa.. realised it was one of his milk teeth.. anyway.. took some picture for him.. silly huggy.. did not know that he has just lost one of his milk teeth.. did some research.. all dog have 2 sets of teeth..

Every week passes by so fast..in an blink of an eye... holiday is coming.. exam are coming.. n christmas is round the corner..

Friday.. Noon time.. bought huggy out to king park for a walk.. his first time..going up hill.. while walking around.. a bird came swooping down.. trying to bite his tail off.. silly hug of mine.. dont even know what's happening.. think he was curious.. how come there's something.. kept flying down and pecking at his tail.. in actual fact..that birdy was trying to protect it nest.. one of the passerby told me.. as it was the breeding season.. perhape there's a nest somewhere.. amongst the trees.. purpose is to protect it nest from being invaded..

Went out with some colleague to Amplifier Bar.. as a support for her son.. Voyager band.. metallic rock music.. nearly pump our heart out.. not surprise.. that the group of ppl all look alike.. long hair.. *esp guy.. swinging their head.. round and round.. knocking their head vigourously.. was worrying that they might shake their head out.. but.. overall.. nice experience.. Had dinner at this Vietnamese restaurant.. read the review.. thought that it was suppose to hv a nice ambient.. as the review said that the food was good..worth trying.. mmh.. however.. the environment was not what i had expected.. so..moral is.. food = average.. (think TOTO @ vic park is better).. ambient = felt like coffee shop.. haa

Sat.. Had breaky @ willow pond.. took a pic of this doggy.. called "XXX".. it seems so small..although she is already 3 years old.. old dog.. small breed.. compare to my dog.. haa.. a coconut tree to a banana tree..

Watched this movie called "Cadilla Record".. about how rock n roll first started... overall.. 3.5/5 star.. rented caused "D" might like it..haa.. coz its about music..

Sunday - Attended sunday service in a Burmese church called "ABCS - Australian Burmese Christian Service/Society".. nice and friendly ppl.. Pastor dawson sermon was interesting... had curry lunch.. at the church.. chatting with ppl from Africa.. Burmese.. German.. Indian.. Taiwan.. their worship is kind of similar to a Presbyterian church.. for instance.. end of service.. three fold of Amen..
Given a short lesson of how to ride a bike... thinking.. to get one..haa..if only i got the licence.. 125 ~ 250 CC is good enough.. not to big.. nor too small.. will get there some day.. in Australia.. not that hard to get a licence.. so long.. u gt ur P plate ready.. someone who had their licence for 4 years or more.. able to teach you.. once ready..book for your test date.. that simple as ABC. just to find the right time.. n right place..

Took a short video of my resident at work.. singing "Jesus Loves me".. haa.. trick her into singing.. she has dementia.. so most probably..will not rmb what she just did a min ago.. surprisingly.. although they might forget about everything in this world.. but.. they will never forget Jesus.. that's something to ponder about.. "Nice"..

Birthday party.. DIY dinner.. suntanning.. work..

Wed--> attend Enna birthday party.. supposely.. to hv approximately 15 plus ppl.. ended up.. about 10 was present... realised that.. many ppl over here.. simply like to cancel and gave an excuse not coming at the last min.. mmh.. feel that.. if u dont hv intention to attend.. shld just decline the invitation.. last min cancellation.. doesnt sound good.. anyway.. that's not the main point.. It was like a pot luck.. where each of us got to bring some stuff.... had some food.. bought a cake.. met some nice friends.. dance.. etc... enjoyable..

Fri --> DIY (Drew-It-Yourself) dinner.. "Ice berg lettuce + Honey overbaked chicken + tomatoes cum bacon n cheese + sweet mascot wine + strawberry fondue".. overall.. taste good.. although it was indeed a ICE berg (Freezer) lettuce.. taste crushy.. importantly..is the effort n thought that count..

Sat --> Went suntanning at Scarbrough beach.. Perth weather was 37DegC.. unbelievable hot.. but.. nice weather.. had nice sandwiches.. plus cooling granita.. rested..n went to work..
--> Had a busy night.. was suppose to knock off at 8pm.. due to one of the resident aircon fuse got burnt off.. which trigger the fire alarm system.. fireman came.. residents got frighten.. scared.. some confused..n some simply dont bother (cool as a cucumber).. as thou the fire alarm didnt rang at all.. funny.. tried to get the resident settled down.. assisted them to the dinning room.. all seated in one spot.. hence we can know that all resident are safe... tried to calm them down.. saying everything is all right.. n fine... however.. One resident.. vomitted on her bed.. clothes.. n floor.. even the cupboard was stained with vomit.. got to clean up.. she was a heavy lady.. weighs 98kg.. she said she felt sick.. n vomitted all over.. told her to be cooperatives.. so I can help to clean her up.. took me nearly 30mins.. to get her nice.. good.. n ready for bed.. cant believe u can perspire so much.. within 30mins.. think lack of exercise.. shld start doing something.. haa..

Sunday --> completed another report.. care plan.. waiting to be proof read.. Went to work.. one resident fell.. found him seated on the floor.. as he has dementia.. hence does not rmb what had happened... his kind of funny.. cute.. adorable but yet mischievous at times.. got another carer to hoist him up together.. gt a cup of tea for him.. to calm him down.. just right before knocking off for work.. found the same resident.. covered with faeces.. on his hand.. pampers.. bed.. got to change his bed.. pamper.. clean him up.. ended up.. gt off work at 930pm.. mmh.. yet another day.. but.. fulfilling.. cause manage to settle all the resident.. in place..

As told by one of our lecturer.. as a nurse.. it is a norm for nurses to work OT.... (dependent you gt paid or not).. however.. so long you do your best.. get everything done.. even if you gt to change the resident at the last minutes before you knock off work.. as long as you know that you have done the needful.. no regret.. duty of care is the utmost important thing.. Agreed ...

Just a random updates..

Bought huggy for his first obedience class last wed.. he was so happy.. trying to socialise and sniffing at other doggy.. some dog are really small.. whereas some are really huge..about 15 ppl attended the classes.. as it was our first time.. therefore.. huggy and me.. plus another lady got to learn the basic of walking our dog on the lead.. using polony as a treat for him.. leading him around with lead on our right hand.. treats on our left hand.. as dog are suppose to be walking on our left hand side.. walk and stop.. asking doggy to sit when we stop.. using a click provided by the trainer.. the trainer said.. when we are walking the dog.. we should be the lead.. not the other way round.. and.. we must teach the dog that it is time for working.. not playing around.. hence he is not suppose to sniff around while walking.. no distraction.. lasted for about an hour plus.. tiring but enjoyable.. got to keep training him.. daily (if i got the time)..

Brought huggy for a run at Shelly bridge ytd.. haa.. seeing him..running around.. sniffing flower.. eating mud..n rubbish.. putting his nose into everything.. tired him out.. sometimes.. having a dog.. can b both a blessing and a haste.. there are times where he can really make you go fumming mad.. at times.. his so adorable.. thinking back..he is only a dog.. how much can we demand from him..

Baked banana bread today:
Ingredients:
3 - 4 ripened bananas
1.5 cup of flour (used wheat flour)
1/2 cup butter (melted)
3/4 castor sugar
2 eggs (beaten)
1 tsp vanilla essence
1.5 tsp baking powder
Pinch of salt

Added on:
Chopped walnut
Honey

Preheat over (180C).. mixed all the ingredient.. baked for an hour..
First try.. taste alright.. haa..luckily..not burnt..
